Mortal Kombat 9 comes out April 19th. After 8 previous releases you may ask, “what’s the hoopla about?”. Well, the series is finally returning to its roots and going back to 2D fighting (think Street Fighter). Additionally, they’re allowing all of the fatality animations to remain 3D, i.e. the best of both worlds.
